Visitors can enjoy "Nature in the Heart of Florence County" while stolling along the Riverwalk. This handicap accesible riverwalk was constucted in December of 2001 and runs 1200 linear feet through the river floodplain.

Surrounded by towering cypress trees, you'll hear the soothing sound of the flowing river, birds chirping, and squirrels frolicking. It is the ideal opportunity to be surrounded by nature and still keep your feet dry!

There are over 300 pilings supporting the riverwalk; these were installed by Santee Cooper, volunteers and park staff.
